The Governor of Sokoto State Aminu Tambuwal has released the sum of #12million to purchase cows for orphans in the state.
The money which was released by Zakkat and endowment committee is meant to purchase cows on sallah day across the 85 District Head of the state...
The breakdown shows that each district will collect one hundred and thirty thousand naira to purchase cows and distribute it to at least forty orphans across 85 district heads....
The governor presented twenty five thousand naira to each district head to buy cow on sallah day. the occasion was held at the Palace of Sokoto.....
