In Lekki area of Lagos State , Blessing Edeh a 24 year old woman who was a housemaid stab boyfriend ,Edet Ebong 31 year old to death. Edeh said Ebong died because he was jealous and suspicious of her .
They dated for a year and half. It was said that fight started when Ebong came back from work only to ask is lover for prepare some food but Edeh decline which resulted into fight and Ebong got stab in the stomach . He was confirmed dead in the hospital area.
The incident was reported at the Ogombo Police Division and was later transferred to the State Department of Criminal Investigation, Yaba.
She narrate how everything happened, when the victim came home drunk and was accusing Edeh of sleeping around with different men then ask for is engagement ring which Edeh said was on the table The victim became angry and got into a fight with Edeh which result to the victim getting stab on the stomach. He was later rushed to a private hospital where he was later confirmed dead.
Edeh was later arrested by policemen from the Ogombo divison but declares it was not her intention to kill him. It was learnt that the victim corpse had been deposited in a mortuary in the area.
