Daily Mail reports that Godwin Nwaofor and Frank Onyechonam deceives mostly American pensioners telling them they have won a life changing lottery cash and an Australian Lottery insistent activation fees from them . He receives almost a million pounds the fraud and spend most of the cash on expensive champagne, luxury cars and gold jewelery.
Mr Onyechonam was jailed for eight years after been named the head of the fraud squad. While My Nwaofor was jailed for seven years at the Central Criminal Court. At the Central Criminal Court, The Judge said Mr Nwaofor was a liar after evidence against him was real. Mr Nwaofor moved from Nigeria to Uk 2006 and got married to a German woman,he has two kids and lived in Camberell Greem, South London,
A victim believed she had won $1.85m tired to track Nwaofor after been told she is a victim of fraud by the FBI. She went to UK trying to locate Nwaofor but has moved to another address.
Mr Nwaofor was found guilty of defraud,converting criminal property, and acquisition of criminal property. However 406 people have fall victim of this outrageous act. Due to the investigation that was conducted it was found that Mr Onyeachonam has master minder in Nigeria. One Orogun named 'the chairman' was said to be a celebrity live in Lagos and flaunt expensive cars .
