Six suspects were apprehend for swallowing $111,000, another was arrested with $45,000 about travelling to Brazil with other members of the group.
One of the six suspects that were arrested excreted 74 wrapped packets of money. It was learnt that the money was recovered from the suspects were from the drugs sale they make in Nigeria and are been transported back to various countries for more purchase of the drugs.
They were arrested in late August, but the details of the operations were released on Thursday. The Authorities said the details had been transferred to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
