EGYPT'S GOVERNMENT RESIGNS AFTER BEEN AMONG CORRUPTION INQURIY


Out going oil minister Sharif Ismail to form the a new cabinet within a week after the Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab had hand over the government's resignation to President Sisi who later accepted it . No official reason was given for the government's resignation. 

However it was learnt that the aim was to reshuffle the cabinet due to the corruption scandal. Egypt's agriculture minister was arrested after been among the corruption inquiry.

A senior government official quoted by AFP news agency said the reshuffle was to "pump new blood" into the government following the arrest of agriculture minister Salah Helal.
