A 20 year old maid named Vivan Simon-Micheal was jailed by the Magistrate A.T Omoyele of a Lagos Magistrates' Court, Igobsere after stealing her employer's underwear after pleading quilty to the offence under Section 285 of the Criminal Laws of Lagos ,2011 on Tuesday to two- month in prison without option of fine.
It was reported she had stole some sets of underwear, Ten pieces of handkerchiefs, Seven pieces of face towels, bracelets, seven pieces of pants, three pairs of Buba and wrappers. Her monthly salary was N20,000.
On the fateful day she was arrested when her employer found her hand towel in the convict's bag and other items, after which she reported the matter to the police.
